Economy Violin Pitch Pipe A
pitch pipe is one of the methods you can use to
tune your violin. A pitch pipe has reeds that are tuned to the
notes E A D G, one for each open string on the violin. The economy plastic pitch pipe
featured here
is great for any player.
Is
it easy to tune with a pitch pipe?
Simply
blow into the pipe to hear the tone, and then tune the
corresponding string on the violin to match the note. With a bit
of practice, most players are able to
tune an instrument to the reference pitch. If you are a beginner,
this process can be difficult. Even advanced players
sometimes have trouble tuning by ear. If you have trouble
distinguishing tones you may want to try an electronic tuner. The
economy pitch pipe is also available with notes A D G C, all
four open strings on the viola and cello.
