Part-time position available. (May lead to full-time employment.)
We are looking for a well-spoken, outgoing individual who plays a
musical instrument. You must have a pleasant speaking voice both on
the telephone and in person. You must be able to
communicate EFFECTIVELY with the parents of our students, our students
(ages 5+) and our customers, so that they leave our store feeling like
they have had a wonderful experience!
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
-YOU have retail experience
-YOU have strong communication and interpersonal skills and speak
fluent English
-YOU thrive in a fast-paced working environment
-YOU are committed to maintaining high levels of product and service
knowledge
-YOU maintain a professional appearance, demeanour and attitude at all
times
-YOU play a musical instrument
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
-must be able to work variable hours including days, evenings and
weekends
-provide a superior level of service to the customer
-participate with the store team in achieving all aspects of service
including scheduling music lessons, renting instruments, and sales
-maintain store readiness including restocking and inventory of
product
-ensure accuracy in all transactions regarding music lessons,
instrument rentals, telephone and special orders
-participate in all manner of daily store cleaning and maintenance
