How Online Lessons Work

If you've never used Zoom
before, you will need to download the free
Zoom
app to your device. You do not need an account.

Allegro Music will email you our secure
Zoom video link for the day of your lesson.

Click our link to open Zoom on your
device.

After you click the link,
you’ll join the Allegro Music virtual waiting room where you can
chat with our front desk staff.

At your lesson time, we
will match you with your teacher in a private virtual teaching room.
Tips for the Best Online Lesson Experience

Adjust the camera so that the student’s whole
body/instrument can be seen.

Have music, dictation book, pencil, and metronome
ready.

Prepare the room to be as quiet and interruption-free as
possible.

Be mindful of lighting, mics, and
speakers so that it’s easy to see and hear student and teacher.

If possible, instead of WiFi, plug your
device directly into your router.

Please charge your device.
