Buying an Electric Guitar -- Body
Styles
|
|
Don't forget about the way the guitar looks! Since
many of us are influenced by other musicians, we tend to
see ourselves with a guitar like our heroes. So choose a body style you are comfortable
with, whether it's the class of a Strat or Les Paul, the
sinister look of an SG, the glam of a V, the
Carlos-Santana cool of a Paul Reed Smith or the aggressiveness of a
Rockwell. Whatever you choose, looks don't affect the
playability of a guitar.

Strat Shape
Designed by Fender, this shape is used by many other manufacturers. Great players include Eric Clapton, Stevie
Ray Vaughan, and Bonnie Raitt. |

manufacturers. Played by Jimmy Page, Slash, U2's The Edge,
Aerosmith's Joe Perry and others.

for the electric country player or anyone looking to be the next
Keith Richards.
